There's a world of difference between agriculture and agribusiness.
We are just as tired as you are of wondering "Where did this food come from?" and "What's really in this?".
Our philosophy is simple when it comes to suppliers of ingredients. Whenever it's possible to, we use local farms. We're members of Charlottesville, Virginia's E.A.T. Local, and Slow Food. We believe that local food is the best food.
For ingredients we can't get locally (such as cocoa, vanilla, or pistachios), we carefully research organic and sustainable producers, focusing on commitment to the environment and their willingness to work with a our very small, green business.
