Your satistaction matters most to us. Attention and care go into every aspect of our ice cream, from using 100% post-consumer recycled cardboard in the shipping container, to selecting our local dairy suppliers by getting to know them personally. We use the same care in packaging and shipping your ice cream, so it arrives in the peak of freshness, ready to be enjoyed.

While you're shopping on Perfect Flavor, we estimate the cost for shipping your ice cream using a rough average. During the checkout process, after you enter the destination address for your order, we will calculate a final shipping cost and display it to you.

The total cost of each package includes 8 pints (full order), or 4 pints (mezzo order) of ice cream, a reusable insulated shipping container, a handwritten note from your ice cream chef, description cards, and dry ice to keep it all cold.

Orders generally take one to two business days to process before being shipped out. This is because there's no giant vat of ice cream base waiting around - we make it a single batch at a time, when you order it. Orders made Monday or Tuesday before 12pm Eastern time will be shipped the second following afternoon, arriving the fourth day after the order is placed. Orders made Wednesday after 12pm, through Saturday will be shipped the following Monday, arriving on Wednesday.

We usually ship via FedEx 2nd day express. We Ship Monday - Wednesday only, and packages arrive before 7 pm the second day following the ship date.
Due to the perishable, meltable nature of our products, Perfect Flavor does not ship to PO Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses. We also do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
It's a really good idea to notify the recipient in advance to expect delivery of a perishable item. FedEx will leave the box on the front porch or similar location and it should stay frozen until the evening. Please confirm that the recipient will be at home or in their office, and that the delivery address is correct.
When your order ships, we'll send you an e-mail with the tracking number so you will be able to track your ice cream order. We will not use your e-mail address for any purpose other than to send you tracking details or to send other information you may request. Please see our privacy policy for more info.
FedEx has permission to leave packages at the recipient address if no one is available to sign for them. We are not responsible for missing, stolen, or damaged packages after they are delivered to the address specified by the customer. Please double check the shipping address before submitting your order. We are also not responsible for orders delayed or returned due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses.

Generally, we'll do whatever we can to accomdate special orders, such as a particular delivery date, unusual or special ingredients, or big orders. Feel free to give us a call.

All orders are packaged with ice packs to ensure your ice cream arrives in excellent condition. There will enough dry ice included in your shipment to last for several hours after delivery.
