In the heart of the bucolic rolling hills of Virginia's Shenadoah Valley, tucked into the intimate community of Mount Sideny, an unlikely but fantastic find waits for the adventurous: Bonny Venture Farm. Bonny venture is a boutique grower of naturally raised produce, with special emphasis on berries and greens.
The real secret is that although Kevin Hoschar (owner and farmer) supplies Perfect Flavor with exquisite and esoteric berries and fruits like gooseberries, ground cherries and huckleberries, Kevin also raises darling Cashmere Goats.
Kevin raises line-bred cashmere goats of Australian heritage, and not only supplies absolutely gorgeous cashmere for handspinners (Can you say "soft"?), but also bucks, does and wethers.
